About the event
Michael Neely is the Chief of the Infectious Diseases Service and Director of the Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics and Bioinformatics. Children´s Hospital, Los Angeles, US.
The research that Dr Neely focuses on pediatric pharmacometry including population pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamic modeling, simulations and therapeutic optimization in clinical routine. His specialty is in the area of infectious diseases as well as others.
The course will be oriented to discuss basic concepts of pharmacometry and basic tools for the use of BestDose and Pmetrics, software used for modeling in pharmacometry and adjustment of pharmacotherapeutic schemes in clinical routine.
